In 1980, state-owned capital accounted for more than 80% of China's textile and apparel industry, but now overseas capital and foreign-funded enterprises account for nearly a quarter of China's textile and apparel industry, exports account for more than 40%, and private capital occupies a dominant position. According to customs statistics, in the first quarter of this year, the exports of foreign-funded textile enterprises accounted for 30% of the national textile exports.
He believes that through the above figures, it can be found that one of the important advantages of China’s textile industry is the supporting capacity of the industrial chain; another advantage is the adjustment of the industrial capital structure. The injection of private capital and overseas capital occupy an important position in the capital structure, greatly improving The third advantage is the comparative cost advantage that China’s textile industry had in the past. These three advantages constitute the core competitiveness of China's textile industry.
